Perkins on the Giannis-Lillard duo: “At first I loved it – Now I’m not so warm to them”

by

Last summer, Mr Damian Lillard left the Portland Trail Blazers and was traded to Milwaukee Buckswho were automatically considered one of the favorites to win the NBA title.

Nevertheless, the “deer” presented a mediocre competitive face, they changed their coach in the middle of seasonand finally they met him exclusion since the first round of the playoffs, largely due to an injury to Giannis Antetokounmpo.

The veteran center and now well-known analyst, Kendrick Perkinsspoke on an ESPN show about his twin John with “Dame” and he pointed out that he loved it at first, but now he’s not so… hot.

What he said in detail:

“When the exchange happened, I loved it. I still like her, but I don’t love her. Giannis and Lillard have to match. Doc will finally start the season and can make a fresh start. What will Chris Middleton be like? The only thing that is certain is that Giannis and Lillard must perform.

First, they must stay healthy. The second is that they should get the most out of their collaboration. They need to become like the duo of Jamal Murray and Nikola Jokic that they were two years ago. That’s what I expect from them. That’s why the training camp exists. I still like them. I’m just not that warm to them anymore.”
