On November 27 the case is expected to be discussed with the defendant Dimitris Giannakopouloswho has already been indicted for inciting acts of violence, as the website dikastikoreportaz.gr reveals.
According to this publication, Mr sports prosecutor did not accept the explanations of its owner KAE Panathinaikos AKTOR and referred him to an audience. The sports prosecutor ruled that his stories Giannakopoulou at the beginning of last summer, through which he attacked KAE Olympiacos, the referees of the finals of the 2023-24 season, the government and others, recommend incitement to acts of violence resulting in exercise criminal prosecution and refer him to the audience.
At the same time, as noted by dikastikoreportaz.gr, by order of the prosecutor, the owner of the “green” KAE has been prohibited from entering any sports facility during matches. This is a restrictive term that comes under the criminal law and is imposed for the first time on Dimitris Giannakopoulos.
The difference with the usual punishments, is that this particular one was imposed by himself prosecutor and not by someone disciplinary body of ESAKE. This means that it is responsible for its implementation Sub-Directorate for Combating Violence in Sports Venues. Any violation of this condition can have serious consequences for the owner of Panathinaikos and also for the police bodies that are responsible for controlling entry to the sports facilities.
