Aris announced his new transfer. The Thessalonians acquired him Rawl Alkins with a two month contract. The player is already in Thessaloniki, having passed the medical.
In the “yellows” he will fill the void of the injured Hodge and when the latter returns, then o Yannis Kastritis will decide whether to keep him on the roster as the seventh foreigner.
THE Alkins will watch his game closely on Wednesday (02/10). Mars against the Turk Telecom (20:00) and it is possible that he will make his debut on Saturday in the league premiere against AEK Betsson at Nick Galis Hall (5pm).

KAE ARIS Midea announces the acquisition of Rawle Prince Alkins, who signed a two-month cooperation contract with our team.
Rawle Alkins was born on October 29, 1997 and with a height of 1.96m. competes in positions 2-3-4.
The new ARIS player Midea attended the high school, Word of God Christian Academy and in 2016 was included in the TOP 20 athletes who would go to college. ESPN ranked him the fifth best small forward of this “bunch” of players, behind Josh Jackson, Jayson Tatum, Miles Bridges, Jonathan Isaac.
Alkins chose Arizona College and averaged 10.9 points, 4.9 rebounds and 2.1 assists in the 2016-17 season. The following year he averaged 13.1 points, 4.8 rebounds, 2.5 assists and 1.3 steals, and after just two years in college, he decided to enter the draft, where he ultimately went undrafted.
However, in 2018-19 he signed a contract with the Chicago Bulls, appearing in 10 games, with 3.7 points, 2.6 rebounds and 1.3 assists. He primarily played for the Bulls’ G-League affiliate, Windy City Bulls, averaging 11.3 points, 5.5 rebounds and 2.9 assists.
In 2020 he made his first transatlantic trip, signing for Portuguese side Porto. There he scored 16 points, 3 rebounds, 2.5 assists and 1 steal per game. In December of the same year, he signed with the New Orleans Pelicans and then with their affiliate, the Birmingham Squadron.
In 2021 he signed with the Toronto Raptors affiliate Raptors 905 and in 2021 he returned to Europe, on behalf of Giessen. After just two games, averaging 15 points and 3 rebounds, he “moved” to Ludwigsburg, where he averaged 8.9 points and 2.3 rebounds.
In 2022 he returned to the US and signed with the Utah Jazz affiliate Salt Lake City Stars and in 2023 he agreed with Ironi Ness Ziona from Israel. There he scored 15.5 points, 5.9 rebounds, 4.5 assists, with 36.2% from three-point range. He then played for Leones De Ponce of Puerto Rico, averaging 7.3 points, 3.3 rebounds and 2.6 assists.
