And that’s because, the CAS accepted the appeal of the 31-year-old Juventus footballer, reducing his sentence to 18 months. This means that Pogba will start to compete from next March, he can start training sessions with Juventus in January, so that when the time comes for him to step on the grass again, he will be at a good level of readiness.
After this decision, the former ace of Manchester United sent his own message, stressing that all this for a while he was living a… nightmare and how he can’t wait to get back into action!
“Finally the nightmare is over. After the CAS decision, I look forward to the day when I can follow my dreams again. I have always stated that I never knowingly violated WADA regulations when I took a nutritional supplement prescribed by a doctor, which does not affect or enhance the performance of male athletes.
This was an extremely painful time in my life because everything I’ve worked so hard for was put in jeopardy. Thank you again for all the love and support. I can’t wait to get back on the field.”
