A Greek triumph took place in the Balkan Wrestling Championship held in North Macedonia. The Greek athletes excelled and raised the flag high, proving that the sport has many talents.
Our champions, who made unique performances, won 39 medals in the event and 4 cups. Greece took first place in the U15 Balkan Championship in Greco-Roman. He took 2nd place in Greco-Roman and Women’s U17 Wrestling and third place in Greco-Roman U20.
A total of 61 athletes competed and the 39 medals are certainly one of the biggest harvests of Greek Wrestling in international competitions
