Juancho Hernangomet’s statements in detail:

On whether OAKA looks like an NBA stadium: “Yes, it sure looks like it. Certainly. They did everything for the fans, it will be amazing. I’ve never played on a glass floor, it will be fun. Today was a little weird, it was a little slippery. But I think it will be perfect tomorrow.”

For Bayern Munich: “They are a big team, in the EuroLeague everyone can beat everyone. Especially at home. We saw that they also got a big win against Real. We will be ready for tomorrow. We came here to fight, we have to win and our fans will enjoy it.”

On last season and if it gives them a boost:What we did last year was amazing. We had one of the best seasons. We know it but we want more, we will work for more. We have signed big players and we want more. The goal is not to go to the Final Four, the goal is back-to-back. We will work very hard because we cannot reach our goal in one day. Last year we didn’t get off to a great start, but that’s how teams are built. There will be ups and downs, but we will work hard to be strong. We are very excited to reach the top again.”

On the improvements he wants to see from the team: “It’s all about chemistry. We have very good players, but we are still learning and helping each other. We will do what it takes to win. Of course there will be games where not everyone will be happy, but the goal is to win. There won’t always be minutes for everyone, but the main goal is to win. So maybe one day you’re upset that you go home and don’t play, but if you win you’ll keep giving everything to improve the team and work together.”

On the new season and what he expects from himself: “I’m here to win. Last year I contributed my part to the success. It was another year of experience in Europe. Last year there was a period when I had to adapt to the team, to the coach, to everything. But what matters is that we managed to reach our goal. We will try to do the same as last year, to be aggressive.”

For Lorenzo Brown: “It’s really nice to play with him. I love him first as a person and then as a player. We won the European Championship together. He came to a great group here, he is adjusting very well. His insight will be very important. We know each other very well, we know who one is and who the other is and we will continue to fight together for our goal.”
