His condolences to EPO for his death George Baldock gave by Alexander Ceferin.
In the relevant letter of its president UEFA refers to:
“It is with deep sadness and a heavy heart that I am writing to express my condolences on the tragic death of your national team footballer, George Baldock.
The news of this incredible loss has deeply affected the world of football and I can only imagine the shock and sense of sadness felt by George’s colleagues and friends.
Although his career was cut short, George managed to leave his mark on the teams he played for, with his hard work, kindness and positive spirit.
In times like these, words are often not enough, however please know that our thoughts are with his family and the Greek football community.
We share your grief and stand with you as you honor and remember the life and legacy of George Baldock.
On behalf of UEFA and myself, please accept our sincerest condolences.

“I would like to express my sincere thanks for your deeply moving message and condolences on the tragic death of George Baldock.
The news was indeed a devastating blow for all of us in Greek football – and not only.
George was not just a talented athlete, but also a remarkable person who made a profound impact both on and off the court.
His positive spirit and dedication will be missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
As you mentioned, words can often not be enough in such moments of immense grief. However, it is really comforting to know that UEFA is standing by us as we mourn George’s untimely death.
Tributes from around the football world mean a lot to his teammates, friends and family. The outpouring of support reminds us how George touched so many lives, both in Greece and internationally, during his career.
