Bantis for Baldock: “The man should finally come above all”

by

The news of the death of Panathinaikos football player George Baldock on Thursday night (09/10) has caused sadness throughout the country.

The official cause of death of the 31-year-old is drowning. Since the morning of today (10/10) many things have come to light that have caused reactions from the public, especially since the family of the deceased footballer asked for respect from the media.

Its president stood on these reports PSAP, Giorgos Bandis, who, with a harsh post on social media, criticized them, asking that the person should come above all and not the news.

In detail what Giorgos Bandis mentioned:

“The well-known “crows” do not take into account the blood of the man who is still warm, nor unfortunately the desire of his family to respect their private life.

They extort him with rent prices, with expensive furniture, with whom or whom he was with and many other obscenities.

And the obscenities unfortunately continue on other higher “plateaus”.

The game of our national team against England will be held normally despite the Greek federation’s attempt to postpone it, under the pretext of not finding a date in an inhumane, at work level, calendar anyway.

Once again those who make the decisions would not have time to think about our internationals. To finally understand that man should always be above everything.

I am sure that our footballers will find the strength to fight despite the weight of such a loss. But their soul will be irreparably injured.

And what an irony, today is world mental health day. Let those in charge ask themselves what they are forced to do on such a day. I really don’t know.

I am only sorry, sorry for the brutal treatment of the dead and the living. Don’t be surprised at what our time is giving birth to.”
