His new coach APOEL the Manolo Jimenez!
The 60-year-old Spanish former coach of AEK signed a one-year contract with the Cypriot club, replacing the Portuguese, Jose Dominguezwho left with the team in 6th place in the Cypriot league and 6 points away from the leader Paphos.
Just a few days ago, at the end of September, Mr Jimenez left his previous team, the Serro Porteno from Paraguay, while in addition to his three terms at AEK (2010-11, 2017-18 and 2019), in the past he has also coached Sevilla, Zaragoza, Al Rayyan (Qatar), Las Palmas, Al Wahda (UAE).

“The company APOEL FOOTBALL (PUBLIC) LTD announces the cooperation agreement with coach Manuel Jimenez and his coaching staff.
The collaboration is for one year until May 2025.
Mr. Jimenez, has worked as a coach in the Primera and Segunda Division, has won the Greek Championship and Cup with AEK, was present in the Abu Dhabi championship while he was recently in Paraguay and in the technical leadership of Cerro Porteno.
He was born on 26/01/1964 in Arahal, Spain and as a footballer he was one of the greatest glories of Sevilla FC while he also played for the Spanish National Team.
Mr. Jimenez will have on his coaching staff Jesus Calderon Malagon as assistant coach, Sebastian Lopez Bascon as fitness coach and Jacobo Sanz as goalkeeper coach.
