Biberovich: “Bryant is lying, what happened is proven by the photos”

Last Thursday (14/10), the big Turkish derby between Anadolu Efes and Fenerbahce was marked by the serious incident between Elijah Bryant and Tarik Biberovic.

Position for the fight that led the two athletes to be expelled from the match was taken by the ace of Fenerbahce, who denied what Bryant saysstressing that the photos show how he hit and bit him.

Tarik Biberovic’s message in detail:



“After the incident that happened in the match against Anadolu Efes, I did not speak, so that the issue would not be magnified and affect the agenda and brand of the EuroLeague. However, I see that the opposing player has made statements with quite a bit of detail, which are not accurate, and continues to claim that I did this even after several days have passed. Even now I will try not to pursue the subject.

The goal at that point was to get the opponent off me and get back into the match. How the incident escalated and what happened is evidenced by the photographs. All necessary information regarding the matter has been shared with EuroLeague, both by myself and the team. I would like to make it clear that I regret engaging the public with such an issue.”
