Christos Christoforidis continued his high… flights and took fourth place at 80 kg in the World Series Beach Wrestling. This placing earned him third place overall.

Christoforidis was once again impressive, he showed his rich talent and with a great performance he reached the semi-finals of yet another event. The Greek wrestler, who proves that he has great “parchments” in the sand, was defeated in the semi-final by a margin of 1-0 by Azero Hasanov and fought for the bronze medal.
There, despite his great effort, he did not manage to defeat Georgian Zointze and remained in fourth place. His good placings in all phases of the world series, however, gave him the bronze medal overall and this is a very big success for the Greek champion.
