European Table Tennis Championship for the Deaf A-G and N-N: Friday (18/10) curtain call in Loutraki

On Friday, the 5th European Table Tennis Championship for Deaf Men-Women and Youth-Teens will begin at the SportCamp Loutraki sports center of the Municipality of Corinthia, and the new “blood” of the Deaf Greek sportsmen and women will initially compete.

In an event where more than 80 sportsmen and women from 17 European countries will compete for the title of continental champion and champion in the youth-youth and then men-women categories, where on the 25th of the month they will the “curtain” of the organization falls.

The Greek entries

With nine athletes (six men and three women), our country will participate in this 15th European Table Tennis Championship for men-women and youth-youths. With the Deaf Olympian Alexandros Tatasopoulos (ASKPN) and the champions of Greece, Gerasimos Zafiratos, Kosmas Deligiannis, Ilias Provataris (APOKM), Spyros Ilias (POK), Konstantinos Zouzoulas (AOK) and Erietta Efthymiou (ASKVE), Sofia Meleti, Natalia Smirnova (ASKVN/DE).

The European Table Tennis Championship for the Deaf is under the auspices of the Ministry of Education, Religion and Sports and sponsored by the Region of Peloponnese, the Municipality of Loutraki and the Port Authority of Piraeus.
