Doncic was trash talking in German to the three Germans in Orlando

He always finds new ways to surprise us Luka Doncic. In the comfortable Mavericks win over Magic (108-85) with him leading the way, the Slovenian superstar was trash talking in… German.

“They have three Germans (Franz and Moritz Wagner, Tristan Da Silva), I heard them talking to each other in German so I told them some things in German too. I learned them at school for five years, but I don’t remember muchDoncic said with a sly smile.

When asked if it was… bad words or something else he replied “both of them”, while when asked to demonstrate what he said, he referred the reporters to his German teammate, Maxi Kleber.

However, to “sweeten” it somewhat, Doncic expressed his appreciation to German basketball for his progress. “International basketball is on the rise, there is a lot of talent. Germany were world champions, which is a great achievement. They have a very bright future“, he said.

Orlando Magic have three German players on their team, all played tonight.

Luka Doncic was asked about European basketball, he said he understood them speaking German. Luka said he picked it up in school, but can’t remember much.
