A major decision is rumored to have been made by several Premier League clubs, according to the Times, claiming damages against Manchester City if the 115 breaches of regulations prove to have a realistic basis. They think that because of her, they were deprived of claiming the championship, the title and the European participations!
Several Premier League clubs have reserved the right to seek damages against Manchester City, for the 115 alleged breaches of regulations, before the deadline on Tuesday.
That intention has been communicated by lawyers even before the outcome of the case, as there is a potential six-year statute of limitations, dating back to November 5, 2018, when a German website first published the Football Leaks documents.
If the serious allegations against City prove to have any basis in reality, the clubs could claim loss of income due to missing out on the league title or participation in European competitions over several seasons, which could amount to hundreds of millions pounds.
The Times has not specified at the moment which teams we are referring to, but it is certain that there is an intention and Manchester City… gets worse!
