New coach on her women’s volleyball team AEK is the Branco Gaits. The Serbian coach, who will take the place of Giangrosi Pasqualino, has worked at AO Thiras and Panathinaikos, winning the championship with the “cloverleaf” in 2022.

AEK is pleased to announce the start of its partnership with Branko Gaits, who takes over the reins of the Club’s women’s Volleyball team.
Branko Gaits started his career as an assistant coach in the U18 of the Serbian national team, and then he took over as its first coach. He followed his successful stint with CSM Volei Alba-Blaj and Dinamo Bucuresti. In the two years 2018-2020 he was on the bench of AO Thiras, leading them twice to the “8” of the Challenge Cup and to a Greek Cup Final. In the 2020-21 season he was on the bench of Radnicki Blasters, only to return to Greece on behalf of Panathinaikos, just before the play-offs of the 2021-22 Championship, leading his team to the title. In the last two years he coached Rapid Bucuresti and CSM Targoviste, winning the Romanian Cup with the latter.
