Vitoria: “I was very upset about the Djurgården game, we let it slip out of our hands”

“In the previous match I was upset about the result, but I was much more upset because I felt it was a game that we basically let slip out of our hands. A match which in the first half we completely controlled and in the second half we did not manage to have the same performance, we did not manage to show the same characteristics that we had in the first half. And that was something that really saddened me a lot.

I know that if I had more training time with my players, we could have worked on these types of situations, know how to react when something similar happens to us. I know that if I had more time, this probably wouldn’t have happened. However, this is the reality at the moment and we will do everything we can so that in the next matches we can do much better.”.
