Elusive North Macedonia is first and invincible – Armenia managed to… steal 2nd place

The Nations League is slowly coming to an end and the group scores are now taking their final form.

For the 6th and last matchday in the 3rd capacity group of the 4th group h North Macedonia got the win against the Faroe Islands with the “poor” 1-0 and stayed at the top with 16 points. At the same time, Armenia with the golden “three point” opposite to Latvia “locked” the 2nd place, leaving below the Faroe Islands.

OR North Macedonia beat the only team that had cut it a point in the competition with Miowsky in the 62nd minute to score the only goal of the match, adding another three points to his team’s collection.

At the same time the Armenia “captured” the 2nd place in the Latvia. The visitors took the lead with Spursian in the 48th minute, with the 24-year-old midfielder making it 1-0.

The Latvians responded with one of our own… children. THE Uldrikis of Athens Kallithea leveled the game in the 71st minute by tying it at 1-1 with a terrific backheel.

Her reaction of Armenia was immediate and took the lead again in the 75th minute with Miranian. With this goal, the 28-year-old gave his team the 2nd place in the standings with seven points, one more than the Faroe Islands.
