Definitive: Romania wins the match against Kosovo on paper, but received a heavy punishment from UEFA!

UEFA announced its verdict on the scandalous and highly eventful match between Romania and Kosovo for the Nations League on November 15!

As it became known, the European confederation confirmed the match with a score 3-0 in favor of Romaniaas the match was stopped due to the guests’ fault.

However, Romania is not spared from the sanctions. His team Mircea Lucescu will fight behind closed doors for the World Cup qualifiers, while the Romanian federation is asked to pay seven fines with a total value of 128,000 euros!

Specifically, the penalties are as follows:

-€50,000, plus one behind-closed-doors World Cup qualifier, for racist or discriminatory fan behavior.

-30,000 euros for using provocative political messages inappropriate at a sporting event.

-9,000 euros for throwing objects.

-4,500 euros for lighting the torches.

-8,000 euros for laser use

-12,500 euros for causing a disturbance during the national anthems.

-14,000 euros for blocking public roads.

It should be noted that the Kosovars can appeal the decision to the CAS.
