OR PAE Panseraikosannounces the acquisition of the footballer Gabriel Pires. The experienced Brazilian midfielder secured his release from Fluminense and is coming as a free agent for one year to Serres on January 3, 2025 to start training with our team.

Gabriel Apelt Pires, as his full name is, was born on September 18, 1993, in Rio de Janeiro, he plays as a defensive midfielder but can cope successfully in all midfield positions. He took the first steps of his career in the academies of Vasco Da Gama and from Rezende, he quickly joined the infrastructure departments of Juventus.
In Italy, he has played successfully in the teams of Spezia, Pescara and Livorno, in the early stages of his career, and then he made 111 appearances in La Liga with Leganies, where he scored 19 goals and 8 assists.
The highlight so far in his career, is the presence for 4 years at Benfica, where he established himself on the international stage. With back-to-back appearances in the UEFA Champions League and Europa League, the Brazilian midfielder made 100 appearances for the Eagles and won a league and a Portuguese Super Cup.
In the 2021-22 season, Gabriel made a move with 32 appearances, 7 goals and 10 assists from Qatar’s Al Gharfa and in the last two years he played for the historic Brazilian teams Botafongo and Fluminense. With “Flu” he won the Copa Sudamericana, Latin America.
