A breather win for Kolossos Rhodes against Panionios with a terrible Perantes

Impressive Colossus of Rhodes press him Panionio with 83-67 for the 12 matchday of Stoiximan GBLstarted his duties in the second round with a right hand and succeeded first win at home!

A burst in the first period was enough for the home team, who gained confidence and essentially… the winning case ended in the very first half (43-27), with the Rhodesians improving to 2-10, taking their second win overall in season! On the other hand, the guests fell to 5-7.

Top for the winners o London Peranteswho scored 18 points and dished out 9 assists, while close behind was Godlock with 16 points. Very good for Panionios o Noko with 15 points and 7 rebounds.

In his debut Thomas Nikos on the bench, which is official but cannot be ruled out to continue until the end of the season, Kolossos entered the match with… foot on the gas and very quickly gained a difference (20-8 in 5′).

With Gaudlock unstoppable and Perantes organizing the hosts’ game excellently, the Colossus closed the first period at +9 (22-13), with Noko keeping the “blue-reds” in the game.

However, in the second period and after a crescendo behind 6.75 (8 three-pointers in the first half), Kolossos increased the difference even more, going to the locker room leading by 16 (43-27).

In the second half, Kolossos continued to play amazing defense (9 steals!) and with Galvanini to offer significant assists in scoring (12 points), remained comfortably in front of the score, with Panionios unable to reduce (59-39).

In the last quarter, the Rhodesians relaxed their defense, allowing Panionios to score 28 points, however, with Goudlock and Perantes having an excellent day, they easily kept the difference at high levels, for the final 83-67.
