‘Best experience of my life’: Sky Sports’ awesome video for Ferguson’s 83rd birthday

THE Sir Alexander Chapman Ferguson turns 83 today. It was the last day of 1941, when the Scottish coach was born, one of the greatest in history, linking his name to the Manchester Unitedin which the bench remained for almost 27 years.

From the November 6, 1986 until May 19, 2013was 1500 times on the bench of the English team, counting 895 wins, 338 draws and just 267 defeats, winning a total of 38 trophies: 13 Premier League titles, 5 Cups, 4 League Cups, 10 Community Shield, 2 Champions League, 1 Cup Winners’ Cup, 1 European Super Cup, 1 Intercontinental and 1 World Cup Club Cup.

Made Sir in 1999 for services to football. He is her longest serving coach Manchester Unitedhaving surpassed his record Sir Matt Busby on 19 December 2010. He came off the bench at the end of the 2012–13 season, having won the Premier League in his final season.

Wanting to honor him on his birthday, ‘Sky Sports’ uploaded one awesome video for ‘Fergie’, featuring footage from top moments of his career, “dressed” in his own words about what he achieved on the Manchester United bench and the “spirit” of the club.
