The International Table Tennis Federation has therefore announced that it has approved the creation of a special working group to collect reports from sportsmen and women and revise the existing regulations.
It is a matter that clearly interests the Greek side as well. Because all the discussion of the last few days may have been based on athletes’ objections to the severe penalties for possible absences from top WTT tournaments (Champions, Smash, Finals), but from time to time objections have been expressed to other points of the regulations.
For example, the knockout method of conducting the Contenders and Feeders or the evaluation system in the world ranking do not favor all the athletes and the Greeks will have the opportunity to present any concerns to the ITTF. The immediate mobility from the latter, after all, shows a willingness for changes, while within it there is also a committee of athletes.
