Panathinaikos and PAOK face off behind closed doors at OAKA for the 17th matchday of the Stoiximan Super League, in the first derby of 2025.
In view of this confrontation, Mr Rui Vitoria spoke to MatchDay Mag of the “greens” about his desire for the team to continue the good performances with which they closed the 2024for the great challenge of the double-header derby, but also for the absence of the crowd.
In detail what he said:
“We want to start the new year as well as possible. What we essentially want is to have a continuation of what we have done so far. That is, to continue the positive results we had in the previous period.
The game against PAOK is a big challenge for us at the beginning of 2025. It is a match that we have to face with a lot of faith in what we have been creating all this time, with a lot of optimism and with a lot of positive disposal. I think that what we have built so far is something very beautiful and we want to see it continue with positive results.
It’s a real shame that we won’t have the fans with us. They help us and give us a very big boost. They are the heart of the club and we will do everything to bring them joy.”
