Vasilis, who has successfully competed in Hercules in the period 2019-2021, returns to Ivanofio to strengthen our team’s front line under the guidance of Haris Markopoulos.
Born in Athens on December 28, 1991, Vasilis is 2.05m high. and fights in the center position. He started his career at Ionic Nicaea in 2008 and made his A1 debut in 2010 with the Panionios jersey, where he competed for three seasons (2010-2013).
His excellent appearances in Panionios attracted the interest of Olympiacos, with which he signed a five -year contract. The “reds” remained for two seasons (2014-2015), winning a Greek championship and competing in the Euroleague. In 2015-2016 he was borrowed to Arcadikos, where he made an excellent year, with 15.4 points and 6.6 rebounds, on average in 19 matches.
Significant stations followed in his career, such as Mars (2016-2017), where he was distinguished with 9 points and 3.8 rebounds per game, as well as participation in the Basketball Champions League. Then, with the AEK jersey (2017-2019), he won the Basketball Champions League, the Intercontinental Cup and the Greek Cup.
