In succession last week, EFEPA held two online meetings with the referees. On Wednesday 19/2 he talked to referees from Attica and southern Greece and on Friday 21/2, he also contacted technology with referees of Northern Greece and the islands.
Of course, they also participated, and by the administration, the President of the EFOEA, Panagiotis Tzovolos, and the Chairman of the Technical Committee of the Federation, Katie Spanou, took part in the administration.
The meetings were well involved and came as a continuation of the online contact that the federation had just a short time ago with the arbitrators.
With these meetings, a first round of contact with the referees was completed, according to the announcements of EFOEA. Ways of improvement in the sector were discussed and various views were expressed in a fruitful discussion.
The referees initially requested regular communication with the referees and the latter to get into the regulations of the sport and to have a common attitude in their decisions and how to deal with matches.
There were also thoughts on ways of training referees, and especially young people, such as video tracking and possible tests from the referee on an annual basis.
Finally, the referees were asked to submit proposals for improving the sport.
