Soula Spyridonidou was one of the National Women’s players found at the FIFA Women’s Football Campaign Festival:
“Women’s football in our country has its history and the fact that today we are fighting is largely due to the older players who have laid the foundations in much more difficult times. Now it is obvious that there is growth, significant steps have been made -and this has been made at today’s event, both by the great participation of girls from schools and academies, as well as the excitement that existed. So, what I would like to conclude is that women’s football in Greece has its past, which is its present, and today we saw its future, which are these girls. These actions are of great value and we will support them with all our might. “.
