Federal technician Theodoris Vlachos called 21 athletes to prepare for our national men’s water polo team, in view of its participation in the final phase of the World Cup (Men’s World Aquatics Water Polo World Cup 2025 – Final), which will take place in April 11-13 at Mavrovaniou’s Mavrovani.
The 21 selectors who will be presented on Monday 31/3 at 9:00 am at the OAKA Swimming Pool (P4) are:
Nikos Gardikas (Apollo Smyrnis), Manolis Andreas, Stathis Kalogeropoulos, Semir Spachic, Aristidis Halivopoulos, Dimitris Hatzis (NO Vouliagmeni), Yiannis Alafragis, Dinos Genidounas, Nikos Genidounas Papanastasiou, Vangelis Pouros, Panagiotis Tzortzatos (Olympiacos), Nikos Kourouvanis, Nikolas Papanikolaou (Panathinaikos), Kostas Giouvetsis (Panionios), Stelios Argyropoulos (Frendendan)
Our National will face one of the four quarter -finals of the competition on Friday, April 11, at 19:20, in Japan. On Saturday (12/4) the semifinals will become and on Sunday (13/4) the finals.
