PAOK: Three -point record in the playoffs

THE PAOK combined the His wide victory over AEK (94-69) with a historical performance. The 16 three-pointers scored by Massimo Kanchelieri’s (16/31) team set a record in its history in the Playoffs of the Professional Championship (from 1992-93).

Coincidentally, the two previous, best -performing biceps performance were again against the “Union” and even the same point of the playoffs, with 15 in 2018 and 13 in 2021.

This was the 5th time that PAOK had 16 or more three -pointers in a match at Stoiximan GBL and the 2nd of this season. He had exactly the same performance (16/31) on December 15 and in the home game with Colossus Hotels Collection. His historical record, however, remains that of the 18 three -point leading on December 4, 2022 in Karditsa (18/34).

PAOK even stayed a three -point lead from the equilibrium of the historic record of the Stoiximan GBL playoffs. Three times Panathinaikos Aktor and one Olympiacos, Marousi and Heraklion had 17 apt shots from the perimeter.

The 16 three -pointers of the Thessaloniki team, however, are not a record of the Stoiximan GBL period. This is because Marousi scored twice from 17 away against Olympiacos for the 11th and home with Panathinaikos Aktor for the 19th regular season.

The 94 points and the difference that… touched the 90s

In addition to the historic three -point performance, for his data on the Stoiximan GBL playoffs, PAOK reached two records over his games against AEK Betsson. More specifically…

*The 94 points he scored yesterday are the second, greatest performance in his history in these derby, in the Stoiximan GBL years (from 1992-93). The biggest was that of the regular season of the 2021-22 season when it prevailed 96-72. However, AEK Betsson holds the record with the 102 that scored in the 1st quarter-finals of the 2021 Playoffs (102-89).

*The difference of 25 points (94-69) is the second largest of PAOK Mateco’s 35 wins over AEK Betsson in the years of the professional championship. To find the previous biggest, we have to go to the 90s and the match that started writing this list. It was the game of the 11th season of 1992-93 when the North Dikefalos dominated 90-60 in “Pale” (Barlow 23, Levingston 18-Hamilton 16, Patavoukas 15).
