For the launch of a cooperation with PAOK, Fernando Ernandez told the club’s official website, accpaok.gr:
“It is no secret that I love Greece, and all the cities I have visited. Where I traveled to Greece, I really liked people, the food, and in general the culture that exists. When I left Panathinaikos, I knew inside me that I would return to Greece to play volleyball. I have good memories of my tenure in Panathinaikos, so it would be difficult to choose a team that has no much rivalry with him. PAOK is a team of the best teams in Greece, and at the same time it does not have such a big rivalry with my previous team in Greece. It is a successful club, not only in volleyball, but also in other sports, as I have checked in the last two years. So I felt very beautiful for the opportunity to play in this club. When my manager, he told me, that PAOK is interested in me, I was very happy because I would return to a country I love, in a championship I know, and in front of passionate fans on all the stadiums, so this is something that gave me great interest. So, I have chosen to come to PAOK, and I am very happy that this is accompanied by the 100th anniversary of the club. ”
