Feeder Kosovo: In the big category new racing tests in Pristina for Greek champions

Kosovo’s WTT Feeder Ping Pong begins on Tuesday at Palace of Youth and Sport and succeeds the WTT Youth Contender that ended on Sunday in the same venue and also with our athletes.

The new WTT Feeder of the country, after October 2024, takes place 3-7/6 and will be attended by Yiannis Sgouropoulos, Giorgos Konstantinopoulos, Malamatia Papadimitriou, Elizabeth Terpou and Ioanna Gerasimatou.

In the simple women, eight qualifying groups were created and, as there was no prediction to find only athletes from different countries, a Greek “duel” emerged. Papadimitriou (head) and Gerasimatou happened to fall into the sixth group. The third athlete is the Spanish Aina Christobal, only the last group is the four athletes.

Terpou is in the first group. He will claim one of the first two places and qualifying against Indie Harde Pael (head) and Chilean Valentina Rio. In men and women the dashboard is of “64”.

The women’s double begins with a qualifying dashboard of ’16. The only Greek woman to take part in the race, Gerasimatou, will work with Bulgaria Maria Yovkova and in the first round they will face the Kosovares say Osmani/jump Mehmeti. Once they get the win, they will face the decisive quarter -final round with the second favorite, the Italians Nicole Arla/Miriam Carnivale.

There is also a Greek participation in the dual mixed men-women, which also includes a ’16’ dashboard in the first phase. G. Constantinopoulos and Terpou have bye in the first qualifying qualifying and in the second they will claim the qualification against the Croatians Leon Benco/Dora Kosic who are also moving to the quarter -finals of the dashboard.
