Panhellenic Athletes Basketball Championship with mental disability: Hope of Thessaloniki maintained its “scepter”

In the final of the Pan-Hellenic Basketball Championship with mental disability athletes, which was a repetition of last year’s final and was held on the Alexandra Avenue stadium “Pavlos Giannakopoulos”, Hope Thessaloniki defeated 68-52 Panserraikos.

At the Marathon of Games, which began in April (12-13/4), with the northern group and the matches were held at the Municipal Sports Center of Serres “IOANNIS TSINSARIS” with the support of the Region of Central Macedonia (Regional Unit).

On April 25-26, the championship continued with the matches for the southern group on the Alexandra Avenue stadium, where Panathinaikos and Olympic flame qualified for the Final Four of the event.

Sunday and Monday the two semifinals were held, which brought to the final the two teams that claimed the trophy last year. Hope of Thessaloniki and Panserraikos, with the Thessaloniki team dominating 68-51 and repeating last year’s success, maintaining the champion’s “scepter”.
