Olympiacos: Enhancement with the towering Slovaka Center Yakubchova

Last season, Ivana Yakubchova competed in Girona (Spain) and San Giovanni (Italy). With Girona, in the first half of the 2024-25 season, it had averaging 6.7 points, 4.0 rebounds, 0.4 assists, 0.6 steals and 0.6 blocks per 18.3 minutes, in 10 games in the Eurocup, and scored 7.2 points and 3.8 rebounds in 13 appearances. In San Giovanni, in the second half of last year, he competed in 13 games in the Italian league, with 9.0 points and 3.6 rebounds on average.

The international center, which also competes in the “4” position, has also competed in Poland, with Lublin (2021-22) and in France, wearing the Anze (2022-23) jersey, and graduated from the University of Southern California. In 2019-21 and 2023-24, he also competed in Italy, with Luca and Ragoussa, respectively.

Ivana Yakubtsova is a key member of the National Slovakia, in which she has been competing since 2017.
