Philana Tinotenda Kadewere, as his full name is, was born on January 5, 1996 in the city of Harare, the capital of Zimbabwe.
He started playing football at the Prince Edward school and with his adulthood he transferred to Harare City.
Djurgardens IF was the one who brought him to Europe for the 2015-’16 season. In the first period he played – mainly – with the U21 team and recorded some of the first team.
He soon went up to the first Djurgardens IF team with which he played a total of 60 times (18 goals, 9 assists) and celebrated a Cup by the summer of 2018.
Then the French Le Havre bought him for 2,000,000 euros and Kadewere made sure to get the best introduction to the French public. His first year in Ligue 2 was full and the second was dreamy, as the African striker became the top scorer in the category with 20 goals in 24 appearances.
Kadewere’s actions did not go unnoticed by Ligue 1’s big clubs and Olimpique Lyonnais released 12,000,000 euros in 2020 to get him and let him end the season as a loan at Le Havre.
It was followed by a full two -year period in Lyon (53 appearances, 11 goals, 3 assists in all competitions) and in the summer of 2022 a new adventure for Kadewere began, as he was borrowed for a season at Mallorca (19 appearances, 2 goals).
The following year the African striker returned to Olimpique Lyonnais and recorded 11 appearances until the middle of the season when he was borrowed at FC Nantes.
His sample for six months in FC Nantes was very positive and in the summer of 2024 he moved permanently to Nantes. Last season in 14 appearances he scored 3 goals and scored 2 assists in Ligue 1 and France Cup with the FC Nantes jersey.
Since 2015 Tino Kadewere has been international with the Zimbabwe (19 appearances, 3 goals).
