EFEPA issued a statement-thank you on Tuesday to Yiannis Broutsis for the intervention and contribution of the Deputy Minister of Sports to keep the table tennis in the SEF halls and for the following year.
In detail, the announcement signed by the Chairman of the Board of Directors, Panagiotis Tzovolos, and the Secretary General, George Brettakos:
“The Greek sports federation of table tennis (EFOEA) publicly expresses its warm thanks to the Minister of Sports, Mr. Ioannis Broutsis, for the exception of the Federal Table Tennis Hall for the concession of the Friendship Tennis.
This decision is a practical recognition of the importance of table tennis for Greek sports, as well as the need to maintain appropriate and stable infrastructure for the preparation of national teams, conducting racing activities and developing the sport at all levels.
EFOEA It welcomes the political will of the ministry’s leadership to support the needs and particularities of smaller sports, confirming their role in pluralism and the quality of Greek sport.
The Federation remains committed to its work and open to any cooperation that contributes to the progress and extroversion of table tennis.
