THE Biktor Wimaniama is getting ready to… pass through the parquet to screenstarring in new animated series titled ‘Alien Dunk’as Variety revealed.
The 21 -year -old center of San Antonio Spurs will appear in cartoon format in a production of PGS Entertainmentwith the French network TF1 already securing promotion rights, and agreements with networks around the world are expected. Animation will be edited by Stim Studioknown by works such as The Wild Robot, Garfield and Tom & Jerry.
The case combines basketball, comedy and science fictionwith ‘Wemby’ and his company struggling in an intergalactic Starball Leaguetrying through basketball to keep peace in the universe.
“It is incredible to see myself in cartoons. Unites two things I love: basketball and space »said Wepaniama, stressing that the goal is to create a world full of imagination and inspiration for children.
The title of the series of course came from the nickname “Alien” that accompanies him because of his unique abilities. “Victor is ‘alien’ not only for his athletic gifts, but also for the values he broadcasts off the court.”said the Philip Set of PGS, stressing that he is the ideal hero for the new project.
TF1’s Children’s Program Officer, Jan Lampaskadded: “The series promises incredible adventures, full of action, sport and science fiction, in a fascinating universe that the little spectators will love.”
