OAKA: Upgrading the training area for diving and wet track

By steady steps towards reinforcing the infrastructure and the essential support of athletes, the Athens Olympic Sports Center (OAKA) proceeds with significant interventions in the space of diving.

The Coordinator of the OAKA, Coordinator of the OAKA, Konstantinos Chaliorisin his message, he announced the launch of a new, modern room workoutwhich comes to complete the recent work of the dry training area.

This new addition is part of a broader strategy upgrade of the facilities, with the aim of creating an integrated preparation environment for their athletes and athletes representing Greece in leading international events.

In detail:

“After completing the work of the dry training area, which ensures the best possible conditions for the preparation of our athletes and athletes in the sport of diving, the construction of a new, contemporary fitness room has begun.

This room will be equipped with weights and all the necessary instruments to provide complete workout capabilities for all sports sports sports. In this way our athletes and athletes will now have a space tailored to their needs, which will enhance their preparation and allow them to reach the highest possible level.

Today, the diving gym covers a total of about 240 sqm:

– 125 sq.m. the room with the gymnastics organs

– 115 sq.m. the trampoline room

With the new room, another 105 sqm will be added, significantly enhancing the infrastructure and even better meet the needs of the sports sports sports.

Creating these infrastructures is not just a technical upgrade; It is an essential investment in the future of Greek sport. Because our athletes deserve the best. We owe it to themselves, to their sacrifices and their dedication, but also to the country that they want to proudly represent in every major event. “
