Houlian Alvares: First Hat-Trick in Europe with Atletico and finally Rayo’s 7-year-old series

Story in La liga Houlian Alvares wrote, scoring his first hat-trick on European territory, in Atletico Madrid’s 3-2 victory over Rayo Vallecano.

The “spider” did not score three goals in a match from May 26, 2022, when he had scored six (!) Endings to River Plate’s epic victory 8-1 against Aliana Lima for Copa Libertadores.

The achievement is even more important, as Rayo had not received a hat-trick in La Liga for seven years-the latter was from Andre Silva in August 2018.
