Yiannis Papadimitriou is past from the position of Panathinaikos technical director, with him saying goodbye to the “greens” through a post on social media.
In it, he thanked the president of Panathinaikos for the trust and respect he showed him during their collaboration, while he emphasized that the great goal of winning the championship may not be achieved, but the Cup was won, while at the same time the club made the biggest sales in its history.
Giannis Papadimitriou’s post:
“Like any farewell, this too is not easy. After 2.5 years of cooperation, the time has come to continue separately with Panathinaikos. I would like to thank the president Mr. Alafuzo for the trust and respect he showed me.
His management and his partners as well as all the coaches, footballers, staff we worked with. We did not manage to achieve the big goal which is the championship, but we brought the club a Cup. Three years of the club’s presence in the European competitions that were missed in previous years and to manage to make the biggest sales in the history of Panathinaikos.
I really wish this great club to be the champion it deserves very soon!
Support the club and not the individuals because that is the only way Panathinaikos can succeed”.
