Sakkari’s post in detail:

I don’t usually do this, but I’d like to share a few words. There is really nothing to say about the messages I received after my game, every tennis player receives such almost daily. What I want to say is that I had a competitive season, definitely below my expectations.

It’s not easy to accept when you’ve been at the highest level for years. I’m not where I’d like to be right now. I am thankful for the people around me and for my fans who still believe in me.

It wasn’t the season I was hoping for, but good things are coming. And to all those who doubt me, the goal is not to prove you wrong, but to prove me right.

I’ll see you in 2026».
