A new chapter opens in his training course Christos Contiwho is now officially his new coach OFI.
THE 50 year old coach signed a cooperation contract with the Cretan club until the summer of 2027.
From the existing technical staff, the only departure is that of the goalkeeper coach, Antonis Lykouris, with Dionysis Chiotis to take over in his place.

PAE OFI 1925 is happy to announce the start of the collaboration with Mr. Christos Kontis, who is considered one of the most evolving coaches in our country.
At the age of 36, Mr. Contis was a direct partner of Mr. Ivan Jovanovic at APOEL, with whom they celebrated the conquest of the Cypriot championship, as well as the team’s participation in the group stage of the Champions League.
From 2013 to 2017 they took over the technical leadership of Al Nasr in the United Arab Emirates, where they celebrated the conquest of the GCC Champions Cup (2013-14) and the UAE President Cup & Etisalat Cup (2014-15).
In 2017–18 he was on the technical team of Olympiakos, finishing the season as head coach.
In 2019–20 he worked at Hatta Club and remained until the middle of the 2020–21 season, when he rejoined the technical staff of Ivan Jovanović, as his direct partner on the Panathinaikos bench, until December 2023.
In February 2024, as the coach of NPS Volos, he managed to keep the Magnesia team in the Superleague, while shortly before the end of the 2023-24 season, he took over the technical leadership of Panathinaikos and as the first coach won the Greek Cup.
This was followed by the collaboration with Al Fayha in Saudi Arabia, while the last station of his coaching career was Panathinaikos.
Together with Mr. Kontis, the technical team of our team will be staffed by: Alexandros Tziolis (direct associate coach), Efthymis Kyprianou (fitness coach), Dionysis Chiotis (goalkeeping coach) and Haris Tselebonis (analyst).
