THE Nikola Jokic continues to make history in the NBA! Their center Nuggets noted it fourth straight triple-double from the start of the season, leading his team to an easy victory over the Pelicans with 122-88.
The three-time league MVP finished the game with 21 points, 12 rebounds and 10 assistsin just 28 minutes of participationhaving 10/15 shots. In fact, he sat out the entire fourth quarter, after the Nuggets had already put the game away with a 24-0 run in the third period, which gave them a difference 33 points!
With this achievement, Jokic became the third player in NBA history which starts the season with four consecutive triple-doublestying the legendary record Oscar Robertson (1961-62) and Russell Westbrook (2020-21).
In the list of most triple-doubles of all timeJokic now counts 168behind only the Westbrook (203) and him Robertson (181).
It is also about 17th career triple-double in less than 30 minutes of actionnumber that brings him ahead of Westbrook in this category — another all-time record.
