The National Women’s Polo team starts its qualifying matches for the World Polo Women’s League finals on Good Friday with Spain, in order to claim the qualification on Holy Saturday and Easter Sunday, through the last qualifying phase in Santa Cruz, Tenerife.
The National team will leave for Spain at noon on Holy Wednesday. It consists of the following 13 women: Ioanna Stamatopoulou, Evangelia Karytsa (goalkeepers), Eleftheria Plevritou, Ioanna Hydirioti, Nikol Eleftheriadou, Margarita Plevritou (leader), Eleni Xenaki, Irini Nino Ellinou, Karoliti, Karoliti Maria Myriokefalitaki
With them, the federal coach, Alexia Kammenou, her partner, Tassos Pyrpyris, the physiotherapist, Costas Apostolopoulos, our international referee, George Polychronopoulos, and the curator of the National infrastructure teams for girls, Dimitris Kyrkos.
