The various ways in which it uses Artificial Intelligence, as well as the progress it has made in generative AI, making its products even more useful for everyone, Google presented, in the context of Google I/O 2023.

A few days earlier, the “father” of artificial intelligence, Geoffrey Hinton, had resigned from Google so that he could speak freely about the dangers of this technology.

Right now, Google has 15 products that serve over half a billion people. Thanks to them, as he points out, it achieves the goal it set since its foundation – the organization and availability of global information for the whole world.

Specifically, during Google I/O, Google:

1. Introduce it PALM 2the next-generation language model with improved multilingual functionality, perception and code.

2. Announced new ways to provide more people with more useful information and updates through Search and Maps, such as with the launch of Search Labs and the Search Generative Experience as a prime example. Another example is Immersive View and Immersive View for Routes.

3. Announce that the Bard expands to 180 countries and is available in Japanese and Korean, and will be able to integrate with third-party systems such as Adobe, Instacart, Wolfram, Khan Academy and more.

4. Present it Magic Editor, through which users can edit footage like professional editors by combining pieces of an image. At the same time, with Duet AI for WorkspaceΤ.

Users can now do more within Gmail, Docs, Slides, Sheets and Meet currently only in English. Also, to help businesses and developers innovate through AI, Google introduced the Duet AI on Google Cloud, as well as new models and features across all Google AI products.

As far as the fight against disinformation is concerned, watermarking and metadata innovations will soon be integrated into the newest production models.

Google will continue to oversee the manufacturing process of its products and ensure that they are secure and private from the start, with the user in control.

Finally, this year’s Google I/O also revealed new information about the Pixel and Android and how Artificial Intelligence is being used for features such as Creative Compose, Cinematic Wallpapers and Generative AI Wallpapers.

The company also introduced the Pixel 7a, Pixel Fold and Pixel Tablet, for a complete ecosystem of Google-designed devices that use Artificial Intelligence.
