At Tekniska Museet, the National Museum of Science and Technology in Sweden, the world’s first sculpture created using artificial intelligence was unveiled. In the modern masterpiece of engineering, which bears the brand “The Impossible Statue”the aesthetic approaches of five legendary sculptors, Michelangelo, Rodin, Käthe Kollwitz, Takamura Kotaro and Augusta Savage are collectively utilized.

The 500kg, 1.5m tall sculpture was the result of a collaboration between consulting firm The AI ​​Framework and metal cutting specialist Sandvik. “Through a harmonious integration of artificial intelligence and mechanical engineering, we have successfully resurrected some of the greatest artists of the past, breathing new life into their timeless craftsmanship”, said Sandvik.
