Her participation in the European research project PHOENI2X announced the PPC in the context of the development of research and innovation activities.
PHOENI2X is funded by the Horizon Europe program and – as pointed out in the relevant announcement – aims to design and develop a flexible security framework to strengthen resilience in sectors such as energy, transport and health, through Artificial Intelligence, of automation and information exchange.
As part of the project, PPC is strengthening the resilience of the Advanced Metering Infrastructure system to ensure the continuous provision of services. The scope covers various areas such as renewable energy technologies, grid optimization and smart solutions for the power grid and energy storage.
During the third meeting of participating entities, the PPC Research Program Coordination Directorate team presented the installation of smart meters at network locations, risk assessment, attack scenarios and the integration of PHOENI2X tools for prevention, detection and response to energy threat scenarios. The results of PHOENI2X so far have been posted on the project website
