Former NASA chief says UFOs are real and could be ‘unfriendly’ advanced technology from China
The head of NASA says that UFOs are real and can be “unfriendly” advanced technologya.
While many believe they could be the result of extraterrestrial life, some experts believe there may be other explanations such as aircraft from hostile nations.
Dr. Thomas Zurbuchen, NASA’s longest-serving partner for the Science Mission Directorates, said he remains convinced there is something out there after reading multiple reports and speaking to witnesses, the Telegraph reported in a report.
Although, he said it is important to first consider whether these are Chinese spy balloons. He added that “we cannot ignore the case that has arisen with the Chinese balloons because if we ignore what we see then suddenly we will be surprised”.
The UFO expert recently left Nasa for ETH Zurich in his native Switzerland. Before leaving, he scrutinized evidence of UFO sightings, such as a 1952 photo of a witness over Passaic, New Jersey.
Dr. Zurbuchen added: “Not only did I talk to pilots, but I also talked to people who reported UFOs and were really convinced. I really felt like I was told the subjective truth. They didn’t lie, they didn’t make things up. I think they were telling me what they saw.”
“That there are unexplained phenomena is not an issue for me. What they are and what they mean and how we prove they exist is something that needs more work. There could be many explanations. If we approach the case looking for high tech items then they might not be friendly and that’s something to be aware of. It could be technology from other places on Earth and that would be very scary,” he said.
“It could be a natural phenomenon like bright clouds, or something we haven’t seen before, and that would be quite interesting, or it could indicate a problem with the camera it’s being captured with.”
Professor Greg Eghigian of Penn State University believes that new discoveries around space may have influenced reports of UFO sightings he added that: “like most things in history, the answer lies more likely in a confluence of events and trends.
“The discovery of thousands of exoplanets by astronomers since the 1990s has made life on other planets seem more likely than previously thought, and the development of drones has contributed to UFO sightings.
“The development of new sensors and sophisticated spying technologies has allowed militaries to more accurately detect anomalies. Also, UFO speculation has always thrived in environments where questions are raised about the credibility of authorities and experts.”
However, there are still people who believe that UFOs are real evidence of extraterrestrial life, which space agencies and governments have chosen to ignore or keep hidden.
Dr. Rudolph Schild, an astrophysicist at the Center for Astrophysics at the Harvard-Smithsonian, said: “In the mid-1960s, after I became an astrophysicist at the Harvard-Smithsonian, I began to hear rumors that alien bodies and debris from their craft were being studied. in a special facility in Building 18 at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base.
“It was rumored that a senior colleague had examined the wreckage and seen the bodies. When I asked him, he got upset and didn’t want to talk about it.
“The hearings before the US Congress just they confirmed what many of us have known or at least strongly suspected for decades. The military obtained alien bodies from UFO debris. It stands to reason that if alien flying objects have crashed on Earth, then it is equally likely that they have crashed on the surface of other planets and that their remains and debris can be found on Mars.”
