The project “Ancient Olympia: Common Place” allows viewers around the world to explore Ancient Olympia in the form it had more than 2,000 years ago through a immersive experience, which includes: an interactive mobile application, a complete website which provides a unique experience, but also an exhibition with digital stations set up around the impressive Microsoft HoloLens 2 at the Athens Olympic Museum.

The project is part of Microsoft’s AI for Cultural Heritage program, which harnesses the power of artificial intelligence to empower people and organizations, and is dedicated to preserving and enriching the world’s cultural heritage.
