Cyber security is at the heart of discussions to safeguard digital infrastructure, as cyberattacks are becoming increasingly sophisticated and dangerous. In this context – according to a survey by Kaspersky – one of the most promising strategies to tackle cyberattles is heard in the name of “cyberspace”.

The survey, conducted in the context of Gitex Asia 2025, revealed that 73% of cyber -security professionals regard cyber -aging as an extremely effective strategy to prevent cyberattacks. Cyber -aging, as Kaspersky says, concerns the development of IT and OT (Operational Technology) systems, which is safe from their construction, through specific methodologies and architectural specifications.

73% of cyber -security professionals regard cybership as an extremely effective strategy

These systems are intrinsically resistant to attacks, reducing the need for external security solutions. The concept of cyber -aging has gained a great deal of acceptance in the expert community, with 85% of research participants declaring that they know the term and fully understand its potential.

Research has shown that 30% of professionals believe that cyber -aged can reduce the frequency of cyberattacks, while 35% believe they can limit the negative consequences of these attacks. It is noteworthy that 34% believe that cyber -aging can achieve both of these results at the same time.

About cybercrime

The need to adopt cyber -aging results from the continued increase in cybercrime and the need to protect infrastructure from external risks. Traditional cyber security systems, based on detection and reaction tools, are no longer sufficient.

On the contrary, organizations are turning to the development of systems that are safe from the beginning, eliminating the need for future protection through external solutions.

“Cyber -aging strategy highlights the shift to the prevention of cyberattacks, instead of simply reacting to them. Companies are now turning to more comprehensive and structural solutions, which allow their infrastructure to be safe from the beginning, making them less vulnerable to attacks,” The cyber security company says.

As her analysts add, “Cyber -aging seems to be the next big step in cyber security, going beyond the detection and management of attacks and focusing on creating secure systems from the beginning.” And end up: “This strategy has the ability to rebel the way we approach the protection of digital infrastructure by offering a powerful tool for fighting cybercrime.”
