Over the next 15 years, life on Mars will not be a science fiction scenario, but a reality, according to the European Space Agency (ESA).

The vision of ESA predicts the creation of large, self -sustaining “space oases” – protected houses and will provide people with all the amenities, cultivating their own food and producing energy.

These houses that look like igloo will be the next big step of mankind to become a multi -pacifist and open new horizons to space exploration.

ESA describes the “space oases” as “autonomous” self -sustaining habitats that create their own energy and food

The European Space Agency (ESA) presented a bold and exciting vision of the future of humanity in space until 2040.

In her new design entitled “Technology 2040: A Vision for the European Space Agency”, describes a world where people live in self -sustaining “space oasis” on Mars, the Moon and the orbit of the Earth.

These houses:

  • They are made of materials that reflect heat and protect against radiation.
  • They cultivate their own food (potatoes, rice, tomatoes, etc.).
  • They produce their own energy, without dependence on Earth.

At the same time, robots with artificial intelligence will explore Mars without risks to human life. Space constructions, such as telescopes and stations, will be assembled directly into space, and the old space materials will be recycled, creating a sustainable space culture.

ESA also envisions a future where “large space constructions”, such as spaceships, satellites, telescopes and space stations, will not be limited by the limitations of launch vehicles.

Despite the challenges, ESA states that expansion of humanity to space is not a luxury but a necessity for the progress of science and the survival of the human species.

NASA and Elon Musk’s SpaceX are planning to send people to Mars in the next 20 years – but no spaceships so far are ready for the trip.

It is recalled that just on Wednesday night, the starship exploded after malfunction during a terrestrial routine in Texas.
