The US Department of Defense Ministry will be the Grok, the Chatbot artificial intelligence, which started with the startup “XAI” by billionaire Ilon Musk, according to Politico.

The Grok was created by Ilon Musk’s XAI to fulfill the goal of the South African billionaire technology to compete with Openai, which has already concluded agreements of defense and space technology.

The agreement, which has a ceiling of $ 200 million, includes details of new ideas of services with programs that are specially designed to adapt to national security needs and apps that utilize artificial intelligence to accelerate health care processes, fundamental science and national safety.

Grok, however, has been called into question in recent days. Chatbot artificial intelligence launched a wave of anti -Semitic comments last week, after Musk announced that changes would be made to the program.

X said she had removed the posts and that the problem was not related to the language model of Chatbot.

The Ministry of Defense did not immediately comment, but referred Politico to its website for public information. Anthropic and Google have also drawn up agreements with the Ministry of Defense.

The deal comes as the rift in Trump and Musk relations is expanding. Musk, who spent about $ 300 million to contribute to the election of Trump and other Republicans in 2024, has publicly criticized the US president for his big megabill and national debt management.
